Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe - Murchison Falls National Park / 360 Kms 7 Hours Drives.

At 0830 after your breakfast, begin the panoramic drive northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle, to Masindi Town, where you will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Time allowing, visit the top of the falls to see them from above.

Option: Go via the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Cost per person $ 50.00
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is the only place where Rhinos can be seen in the wild in Uganda. Presently 21Southern White Rhinos are found on the nearly 17,000 acres of the sanctuary, with the land provided by Capt. Joe Roy on a long-term use right agreement to RFU. http://www.ziwarhino.com/

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park

At 0700, go for an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the toothsome hippos, home of crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls, return to your Lodge.
