The sought of place that one dreams about.

At the airstrip the lodge vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge. Relax at the lodge.

Dinner and overnight, KIDEPO SAVANA LODGE – FB

Kidepo Savannah Lodge, found on the edge of this most beautiful National Park in Uganda, compliments the wildlife gem and expanses of endless savannah views.

The lodge is just 500 meters away from Kalokudo gate .Its location offers un-paralled visits of the expansive Narus Valley, Mount Morungole and the distant mountain ranges which form the border with Southern Sudan. The lodge is inspired by the savannah surroundings, the grasslands, rocky outcrops, and ... by the karamajong, the tribe with their typical manyattas and colorful blankets. It blends in the environment rather than stick out, hence the choice between the luxurious self - contained safari tents and comfortable lazy camping tents.

Day 2: Kidepo Valley National Park

Wake early to a cup of coffee. At 0700hrs take a game drive through the Narus Valley to view the most amazing flora and fauna. Large herds of buffalo and elephant, family groups of eland, giraffe and zebra and lions lounging on grasslands, tree branches or from the natural throne, the granite rocks. There is a great opportunity to sight the leopard and cheetah as well. Return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon visit the Karamajong Village, for a cultural tour to see how this proud tribe known to refused many influences for change is evolving. Their ways are unique to them and they are a proud pastoral nomadic tribe who herd cattle. You will see how they live, prepare food, dance, enjoy life and experience what their cattle mean to them.
